Does this work with every WiFi network?

This tool supports the common personal-network QR format for WPA/WPA2, legacy WEP, and open networks. Enterprise networks that require a username, certificate, or captive portal need additional setup and are not supported here.

Can someone read the password from the QR code?

Yes. A WiFi QR code contains the network details, including the password. Treat the image like the password itself and use a guest network when sharing with visitors.

What happens if I change my WiFi password?

Create and print a new code. A static WiFi QR code stores the details directly and cannot update an existing printed image.
