PRIVACY

Your content, on your device.

This release generates QR codes in your browser and does not send the entered QR contents to an application server.

What the generator processes

Website addresses, text, WiFi passwords, and contact fields are held in the page’s memory to generate your preview and downloads. The application does not put them in a URL, cookie, localStorage, or analytics event. Reset clears the form; closing the page ends the application’s in-memory session. Your browser, extensions, or operating system may have their own history or recovery behavior.

Website requests

Your browser still requests the website’s pages and assets. A hosting provider may process connection information such as IP addresses and request logs. This is separate from the QR contents, which this application does not include in those requests.

Analytics and advertising

When configured, Google Analytics measures page views and tool actions only after you allow analytics. Our events exclude QR contents, query strings, names, and passwords. You can reject or withdraw consent through Analytics preferences in the footer. Your preference is stored on this device for up to 180 days. Google AdSense, when enabled, uses a separate consent message and Ad privacy settings. Google may process device, cookie, and connection information to deliver and measure ads. We do not use session recording.

Downloaded files

A QR image contains readable information, not encrypted storage. Anyone who receives the image may decode it. Keep WiFi passwords and private contact details out of places where you do not want them shared. Files you save remain under your device’s storage controls.
