Add a logo while keeping a QR code readable
Prepare a small image and verify both the digital export and the printed result.
Prepare a simple logo
Choose a PNG or JPEG up to 2 MB. A bold mark is easier to recognize at the small center size than a detailed wordmark. The browser resizes the logo and embeds it in the export, so the file does not depend on a remote image URL. Upload only artwork you have permission to use.
Leave the QR pattern room
The logo covers part of the QR pattern. The tool limits the overlay and switches to H error correction, but the result still depends on the payload and scanning conditions. Prefer a short URL, dark modules and a light background. The four-module border must remain clear; place a caption below that border.
Check two versions
Download a code with the logo and a plain version. Scan both from the saved files, then print at the intended size. If only the logo version fails, simplify or remove the logo rather than enlarging the overlay. If both fail, review contrast, output size and the destination. Test again whenever you change the encoded content.
